ambrette: the musky seed of the scarlet hibiscus melds into the scent of the human pulse. a pure essential oil blend of ambrette, bitter orange, orange flower, frankincense, black pepper, rose absolute and geranium.

guaiac: the tree of trees, the infinite expanse of the wilderness. the mysterious, warm smoky notes of pure guaiac are blended with pink grapefruit, elemi, copaiba and cabreuva.

champa: champa is the flower of golden light in bloom. a blend of champa flowers, mimosa, jasmine grandiflorum, osmanthus, rose geranium, ylang ylang, palmarossa and clove bud.

Emily Says: These are different in a good way. The scents are complex, sophisticated, unique and difficult to describe. They all strike me as potentially unisex and grown up, and like all natural perfumes, smell different depending on your body chemistry. I find the ambrette reminiscent of the bitterness of cottonwood leaves, with a musky sweet undertone added. It is nice on its own, or mixed it with a more floral perfume (like the rf champa or the Tsi-la collection) to give the floral more depth and complexity. The guaiac is orange citrus with warm, woody, undertones. The orange settles down quickly, and the warmth and smokiness become more predominant. The champa is the most floral and sweet smelling, but has a grounding, earthy middle range and definite melon tones. The red flower perfumes seem to last longer on me than some other natural perfume oils I've tried.
